On Sunday, it will be announced which Belarusian freestylers will go to the Olympics
The list of qualified athletes is formed based on the results of the World Cup stages, the last of which was supposed to take place in Deer Valley on January 16-18. However, due to weather conditions in Salt Lake City, it was moved to Lake Placid.

In Lake Placid, acrobats were supposed to compete on January 11. And these competitions will take place according to the schedule. The stage, so to speak, will simply be a double one. Because on the 12th, freestylers will again start as part of the stage that was originally planned in Deer Valley, writes "Sport Belarus".
Thus, it will soon be known what the composition will be and who exactly from the Belarusian freestyle team will go to the Olympics in Milan.
After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Russian and Belarusian sports (hockey, biathlon, freestyle) were suspended from international competitions, and at first it seemed that Belarusians would largely miss the Winter Olympics.
But in December, six Belarusian and three Russian athletes received neutral participant status, a permission granted by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation.
Since 1998, Belarusian freestylers have brought medals from the Winter Olympics — a total of eight, including four gold ones.
At the last Olympics in Beijing in 2022, Hanna Huskova won silver, in 2018 she won gold, and at the Olympics in 2014, Anton Kushnir and Alla Tsuper won gold.
The Winter Olympic Games will take place in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo from February 6 to 22.
