«Crude Imperialism». An analysis of the new US policy through the eyes of Lukashenka's security forces has appeared
«The essence of the new US approaches under Trump is a rejection of the old «soft power» in favor of harsh pragmatism and direct pressure,» the author writes.

A short but comprehensive text assessing the new US policy, as understood by the security forces, has appeared on the Telegram channel Special Operations Forces / VDV / Spetsnaz. Here's what is noted.
«▪️USAID and NED are disbanded (or heavily cut) after audits by Musk and DOGE — not due to isolationism, but due to their inefficiency, corruption, and lack of return for America. Long-term «feeding» of the opposition, NGOs, and «color revolutions» is a thing of the past.
▪️Transactional policy has replaced them:
— direct blackmail and bribery of ruling elites through sanctions, tariffs, personal deals, and economic leverage;
— the «Trump Corollary» to the Monroe Doctrine — rigid dominance in the Western Hemisphere, preclusion of China/Russia/Iran, control of migration, drug trafficking, and resources;
— elite special forces as a «sheriff's club» — swift surgical strikes, seizures, FAFO operations instead of «eternal wars» (examples: Venezuela, cartels, Iran).
▪️All under the slogan «America First»: less ideology and global leadership, more benefit for the US, minimization of costs and risks. This is not a withdrawal from the world, but a new, cruder imperialism — without disguising itself as «democracy,» concludes the special operations forces channel.
«Today the situation is more complex. What is happening around us does not depend on us. Madness and madness again,» stated Alexander Lukashenka on January 8.
«Lukashenka has begun to realize the consequences of the destruction of the world order as we knew it before 2022. However, there are no signs yet that he is capable of jumping off the Russian tanker, which he boarded of his own free will, and which is heading towards one hell or another,» Mykola Buhai commented on his statements.
