In Minsk, Organizers of Illegal Migration Detained, Who Collected 250 Rubles Monthly Tax from Each Arrival
The detentions were carried out by operatives of the 3rd Department of GUBOPiK with the operational support of fighters from the special purpose detachment of internal troops "Berkut".

Two foreign citizens and a resident of Belarus were detained. They organized a grey scheme for the legalization of representatives from the Central Asian region in our country, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is reported that they facilitated migrants' illegal entry and stay on the territory of Belarus. They produced and submitted knowingly forged documents to state institutions, both from fictitious and real employers. Thus, they ensured that illegal immigrants received visas and temporary residence permits in Belarus.
For their services, the fraudsters received 200–250 dollars per person, as well as up to 250 rubles in monthly "tax" from each. More than 100 clients have been tentatively identified. Many of them worked here as taxi drivers, auxiliary workers in markets, and in public catering establishments.
A criminal case has been initiated for organizing an illegal migration channel. The illegal immigrants face expulsion from the country.
