Trump: Ridiculous, as if Norway doesn't control who gets the Nobel Prize
US President Donald Trump, at a press conference dedicated to the anniversary of his inauguration, once again expressed personal grievances against the Norwegian government, calling "ridiculous" the assertion that it supposedly doesn't control who does or doesn't receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

"For every war stopped, I should have been given the Nobel Prize, but I don't say that. I saved millions and millions of people.
And don't let anyone tell you that Norway doesn't control the decision-making, okay? It's all in Norway. Norway controls the decisions. They will say: "We have nothing to do with it." That's just ridiculous. They have lost so much of their prestige.
That's why I have such respect for Maria Machado for what she did. She said: "I don't deserve the Nobel Prize. He deserves it." When she got it, they said — "Wow, that's incredible." And I thought: President Trump will get it. President Trump deserves it. He ended eight wars.
How beautiful, right? She's a good woman," he said.
