Tsikhanouskaya participated in events in Warsaw dedicated to the anniversary of the Kalinouski Uprising
On January 24, at the invitation of the Chancellery of the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, Belarusian democratic leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya took part in a ceremony commemorating the participants of the Kalinouski Uprising of 1863-1864. The event took place in Warsaw, on the territory of the Warsaw Citadel.

The ceremony was held with the participation of an honor guard from the Polish army. During the solemnities, speeches were delivered by President Karol Nawrocki and President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda. In their speeches, they emphasized that the struggle for freedom and independence was a common cause for four nations — Poles, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians. The President of Poland also greeted the present representatives of Belarusian democratic forces.

After the speeches, a wreath-laying ceremony took place. As part of the Belarusian delegation, a wreath was laid by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet Pavel Latushka, Speaker of the Coordination Council Artsiom Brukhan, as well as a veteran of the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment with the call sign "Pchala" (Bee).

"Freedom is not given forever; it must be defended again and again. The Kalinouski Uprising reminds us that we have dignity, we have a voice, and we have the right to live freely. We honor the memory of the insurgents because this experience of resistance and solidarity is important to us even today, as Belarus and Ukraine are again fighting for freedom from the 'Russian world'," Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya emphasized in her speech.
