Zelenskyy confirmed agreements on an "energy truce" with Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that agreements have been reached with Russia on a temporary suspension of strikes on energy infrastructure.

«An important statement by President Trump about the possibility of providing security to Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine from Russian strikes during these winter cold spells. Energy is the basis of life, and we appreciate the efforts of our partners to help us protect life,» Zelenskyy wrote on the social network X.

He added that negotiations on this topic were held in Abu Dhabi, and expressed hope that the agreements would be fulfilled.
