Minsk City Court sentenced four residents of Minsk, who, according to the investigation, were couriers for the Bysol Solidarity Foundation. They were charged under Part 3 of Art. 361-1 of the Criminal Code (participation in an extremist formation). Additionally, one of the defendants — a woman — was also charged under Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (active participation in actions that grossly violate public order), writes "Viasna".

According to the investigation, the defendants were couriers for the BYSOL initiative — "their tasks included receiving and transferring money to other participants of the formation, distributing it for the needs of participants in illegal protest and extremist activities".
Two defendants were sentenced to 2 years in prison, and another to 3 years. The woman, who was additionally charged with participation in protests, was sentenced to 3 years in prison. The defendants must also pay a fine of 500 basic units each.
