Head of Chuvashia, Oleg Nikolaev, stated that cars were damaged in the city. According to him, there were no casualties or destruction of capital buildings.

Head of Cheboksary, Stanislav Trofimov, in turn, reported that apartments in several houses were damaged.
Due to the drone attack in the city, traffic was temporarily blocked on several streets, and schools in one of the districts were switched to remote learning.
Trofimov also stated that as a result of the attack, the "thermal circuit" was damaged, the restoration of which is being handled by emergency services. The Ministry of Health of Chuvashia reported one injured person, who was hospitalized in a moderately severe condition.
According to Ukrainian media, the target of the strike was the enterprise “All-Russian Research Institute of Flowmetry “Progress”, which produces components for missiles, drones, and even aerial bombs (KAB).
