Tsikhanouskaya welcomed Zelenskyy's introduction of sanctions against Lukashenka
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya welcomed the introduction of personal sanctions against Alexander Lukashenka by the President of Ukraine.

“This is a correct and timely decision by Ukraine. And I thank President Zelenskyy for his principled stance. Lukashenka is not a legitimate ruler: he illegally seized power and serves Russia's interests, not the Belarusian people. The Belarusian people have become hostages of two dictators.
The sanctions introduced by Ukraine are sanctions against the dictator personally. He assists Russia in its criminal war, manufactures weapons, and must, undoubtedly, bear responsibility for this under international law. This is also a clear message to those around Lukashenka: by helping him, you become accomplices in crimes. Impunity is what strengthens dictators. And today Ukraine has shown that there should be no impunity.
The war must be stopped, and peace and justice restored," she wrote.
