At the "Usi Svayo" farmers' market in Minsk, fresh cucumbers were spotted for 50 rubles.
Such a high price is explained by the fact that the cucumbers were grown using ecological farming principles. Farmers from Braslaŭ district brought them to the market.
In the discussion on social media, people are surprised by the price.
“We bought very similar ones yesterday at 'Santa' for 8 rubles per kg, the label indicated they were from Niasviž,” a woman shares in the comments.
On 'Edastaŭka', Belarusian cucumbers cost 8.44 rubles per kilo.
The first harvest of cucumbers in Belarusian greenhouses this year was harvested in early February.
