Forest fires have already started in the Brest region

Smoke plumes from fires in the Brest region are clearly visible in a fresh satellite image, the publication " Flagshtok " noted.

The fire in the "Sporauski" reserve has not stopped for the last five days; large fires are also recorded in the ecosystems of Kobryn and Luninets districts.

However, at the moment, no restrictions or prohibitions on visiting forests have been established in any of Belarus's regions.

The Gomel region still retains moisture from the melting snow, so no major fires are recorded there.
