This is a record since autumn.

Over the past day, Lithuanian border guards turned back 18 migrants who tried to illegally cross the border with Belarus, the State Border Guard Service (VSAT) announced on Saturday.
The last time a larger number of migrants was recorded was at the end of November, when 20 people tried to cross the border in one day.
11 of these migrants were spotted on Friday in the Švenčionys district. They were escorted to the border from the forest on the Belarusian side by two men, one of whom began cutting the physical barrier installed on the Lithuanian side with a special tool.
After damaging the lower coils of barbed wire and creating an opening under the fence, 11 people entered the country's territory.
