The government has adopted a resolution simplifying the rules for remodeling and redeveloping residential premises. The document was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchyn, Myfin noted.
The resolution is aimed at maximizing the simplification of procedures for residents of apartment buildings and concerns works that do not affect the structural elements of buildings.
The main innovation: waterproofing, vapor barrier, and soundproofing can now be done without developing a project. Additionally, it is no longer mandatory to conclude a construction contract.
Works can be carried out by the initiator themselves or by attracted individuals — without requiring a specific main type of activity, although previously a license or company profile was required. The list of documents for administrative procedures has been shortened.
At the same time, works that modify load-bearing structures, waste and gas removal systems, as well as thermal insulation, have been excluded from the scope of redevelopments. Such interventions are still considered reconstruction and are regulated by construction legislation.
The process of obtaining approvals for installing individual antennas and other structures on roofs and facades has also been simplified. The requirement for a layout plan has been excluded. The procedure for approving already unauthorizedly installed antennas has also been simplified.
