Yakub Kolas's poems are planned to be translated into Turkish and published as a separate collection. This agreement was reached after the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Yakub Kolas Museum and the Turkish museum dedicated to the poet Tevfik Fikret.

The document was signed in Istanbul and envisions not only the translation of works but also broader cultural cooperation. The parties plan to hold joint exhibitions, meetings, lectures, and other events to better acquaint the residents of both countries with each other's literature and culture.
As part of these contacts, Belarusian representatives also met with students and lecturers from one of the universities in Istanbul. There, they discussed the life and work of Yakub Kolas, read his poems, and examined their interpretations.
