An incident occurred overnight in one of Minsk's kindergartens: an unknown man illegally entered the building and caused a rampage there, reports the State Forensic Examination Committee.

After the report was received, an investigative-operational group immediately went to the scene along with a forensic expert. During the inspection, shoe prints were found and seized.

As a result of operational-investigative measures, a 28-year-old Minsk resident, previously convicted, was detained on suspicion. At the time of detention, he was in a state of drug intoxication.

As part of the investigation, a forensic trace examination was ordered (study of traces and their origin). The expert compared the traces from the crime scene with the traces on the suspect's shoes and established that they were left specifically by his sneakers.

This allowed confirming his involvement in the committed crime. A criminal case was initiated against the man.
