Ukrainians attacked a Russian shadow fleet tanker near Novorossiysk

Ukrainian military personnel attacked a Russian shadow fleet tanker with a drone in the waters at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk. This is evidenced by a video published by Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov for leading the operation, and to counter-intelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy for their effective work.

He also noted that Ukraine's long-range capabilities would continue to develop — at sea, in the air, and on land.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced hits on two vessels, but only one tanker is shown in the video. The results of the attack are not yet known.
