A new green recreation area called "Duck Island" will appear near the "Kamennaya Gorka" metro station in Minsk. It is planned to create it in the square near Bryket Street, writes Blizko.by.

The main part of the project will be a reservoir and care for its inhabitants. In the new square, there will be special houses for ducks and squirrels, as well as floating flower beds that help purify the water.
For visitors, a circular pedestrian route, observation decks, piers, and pergolas are planned, from where one can observe birds and relax in nature.

In addition, the recreation area will feature a children's playground in an ecological style and a workout zone for sports.
The authorities of the Frunzensky district note that the project should make Minsk even more ecological and comfortable for citizens' recreation.
