In Buda-Kashalyova District, a thief was identified by the fork he used to have a snack
One of the dachas in the district was burgled last year.

The uninvited guest stole food and other property, but did not forget to have a snack at the crime scene, as evidenced by the fork and spoon he left behind.
The time frame during which this incident could have occurred was no less than 5 months, and CCTV cameras were, naturally, absent.

However, a biologist-expert extracted genetic material of an unknown man from the spoon and fork, and, as it turned out, a DNA sample of the suspect was already in the database. The suspect suffered from chronic alcoholism and had previously been involved in similar crimes, reports the State Forensic Examination Committee.
However, by the time this crime was solved, there was no one left to punish. Precisely on the day the victims reported the dacha theft to the police, the suspect died from chronic alcohol intoxication.
