Vitebsk pro-Russian activist Elvira Mirsalimava summoned to police
Pro-Russian activist Elvira Mirsalimava was summoned for an "interview" to the Kastrychnitski District Department of Internal Affairs in Vitebsk. She announced this on social media. Mirsalimava believes the reason was "some new denunciation."

In her post, Mirsalimava wrote that she received a call from the police asking her to appear at the department. The activist added that if she doesn't make contact by evening, it will mean the situation is developing according to an "unfavorable scenario."
This is far from the first attention from law enforcement to Mirsalimava's activities, as she actively promotes anti-Belarusian, pro-Russian narratives. Earlier, she was already brought to administrative responsibility for violating legislation on mass events and picketing.
Mirsalimava last drew attention when she distributed St. George ribbons on May 9. Propagandist Ryhor Azaronak called her actions a provocation.
