John Travolta received in Cannes an honorary Golden Palm for his contribution to cinema. Travolta was stunned by this surprise. "A complete surprise!" he said. — "I can't believe it."
He came to Cannes to present the adventure film "Propeller One-Way Night Coach" — this is Travolta's directorial debut. The film was made with the support of Apple and is based on the actor's eponymous children's book from 1997. According to the plot, young aviation enthusiast Jeff and his mother embark on a cross-country flight to Hollywood, which changes their lives. Travolta's 26-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, also stars in the film. The film will be released on Apple TV streaming on May 29.
