On May 14, at the age of 102, writer, art critic, and widow of poet Andrei Voznesensky, Zoya Boguslavskaya, passed away. This was reported by the Voznesensky Center in Moscow.

Zoya Boguslavskaya
The center noted that she had not been seriously ill, and her death was related to old age. They also called Boguslavskaya a "muse" and a symbol of an entire era.
Zoya Boguslavskaya was known not only as a writer but also as an active cultural figure. She founded the Association of Women Writers in Russia, and later an international organization in Paris. Her works were published in famous literary magazines, translated into various languages, and plays were staged based on her works.
She lived with Andrei Voznesensky for 46 years — until the poet's death in 2010. It is believed that the famous poem "Oza" was dedicated to her.
