Reproductologist Reveals How Much It Costs to Freeze Egg Cells in Belarus
Frozen egg cells can be stored for 10 years or more with regular payment.
Women in Belarus are increasingly turning to egg cell freezing to postpone childbirth and preserve fertility, reported Alla Zubareva, a reproductologist at Minsk Maternity Hospital No. 2.
The procedure includes examination, stimulation, egg cell retrieval under anesthesia, and cryopreservation. Storage is paid for by the patient and usually lasts 10 years or more. When ready, thawing, fertilization, and embryo transfer are performed.
«Most often, unmarried women and women of a later reproductive age — 35 years and older — seek this,» said Alla Zubareva.
Women turn to egg cell freezing for various reasons. Some patients wish to postpone childbirth to a later age due to social factors.
Among medical indications, the detection of tumors or other pathologies of the reproductive system is often cited, especially when future treatment may affect fertility.
Frozen egg cells can be stored for 10 years or more, provided regular payment is made, and this process ceases based on a woman's written application, after which they are disposed of in the presence of a special commission.
The cost of the procedure averages 3‑5 thousand rubles. Storage — up to 140 rubles for 6 months.
"Thank you, Lena! Continue your observation." The officer who wrote to Kharysavaya frequented political emigration chats, and even offered to exchange nudes with some girls.
