According to the experts' conclusion, the man died as a result of a heart condition.
A report about the man's disappearance was filed with the Mazyr District Department of Internal Affairs on April 19. Relatives reported that a few days prior, he had called and said he was lost in the forest. The man asked not to call rescuers, as he was confident he could find his way to the road on his own, because he heard the noise of the highway.
Unfortunately, he was unable to get out of the forest on his own.
Searches continued for about a month. The location of the deceased was determined with the help of a dog from the search and rescue team "Simuran", after which the body was found in a forest massif in the Mazyr district.
The Mazyr District Department of the Investigative Committee is conducting a review of this fact.
This sad story once again reminds us that in case of disorientation in the forest or any other emergency, it is important to contact rescuers for help as soon as possible and not to rely solely on one's own strength.
