Lavrov ruled out Russia's participation in "Eurovision" due to Satanism
"We will not meet the criteria that currently define Eurovision participants and which are truly criteria of open Satanism," said the Russian Foreign Minister

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov ruled out Russia's participation in "Eurovision" due to "Satanism" at the contest, "Dozhd" reports.
"I want to say right away: we will not meet the criteria that currently define Eurovision participants and which are truly criteria of open Satanism. Frankly, we won't be able to meet them," stated Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
On Friday, the contest director Martin Green admitted the possibility of Russia's return to the contest and stated that the country was suspended not because of the start of the war against Ukraine, but because it was not possible to prove the independence of the state broadcaster VGTRK from the Kremlin.
However, even before the "Eurovision" final, Green stated that there were no plans for the return of Russian broadcasters.
The organizers of the contest announced Russia's exclusion from participation on February 25, 2022. Belarus was suspended in 2021.
In response, Russia held the "Intervision" contest last year.
