Two-meter Catfish Caught in Dnieper Oxbow Near Rahachow PHOTOS

Leanid Sakalou, a fisherman from Rahachow, caught a trophy catfish during a regular fishing trip, which became one of the largest caught in Belarus this season, writes Fishing.by.

The man went fishing to an oxbow lake of the Dnieper near the village of Ilyich in the Rahachow district and never even imagined he would have to fight such a large fish. According to Leanid, he was trolling from a boat. The catfish bit on a 130-millimeter wobbler.

The fish was securely hooked on two lures at once, but reeling it in was very difficult. The struggle with the giant lasted about 40 minutes.

As a result, the fisherman managed to pull in a catfish 2 meters long and weighing 55 kilograms. Leanid himself noted that this was his personal record.

Large catfish are caught fairly regularly in Belarusian waters, but specimens weighing over 50 kilograms are considered a very rare and especially valuable trophy.

Неправільна "двухметровага", а правільна "дзьвухмятровага". У вас, НН, некалькі памылак у адным слове.
