As recently as July 11, Aliaksei Papkou, Deputy Chairman of the Zhodino City Executive Committee, held a direct line, but now information about him has been removed from the district executive committee's website.
According to "Nasha Niva", the official's last working day was July 20. Papkou did not wish to extend his contract and resigned of his own accord.
In 2025, the Chairman of the Zhodino City Executive Committee congratulated Aliaksei Papkou on his appointment as deputy in the field of housing and communal services and construction, emphasizing that he was facing "serious tasks".
In January 2026, Papkou boasted about successes in his sector: "We worked in the black regarding housing construction rates, ensuring 100.7% fulfillment of the target indicator. Along with housing construction, work was carried out to create engineering and transport infrastructure."
During his tenure, the reconstruction of a section of the R53 highway passing through Zhodino took place, but it will have to be completed with a new appointee.
Before joining the City Executive Committee, Aliaksei Papkou worked as the head of electrical networks for the Smalyavichy district.
