People sang "Pahonia" and marched through the city.

An action was held in Vilnius for the anniversary of the popular uprising on August 9, 2020.
Belarusians gathered on Cathedral Square and unfurled a huge white-red-white flag, writes "Salidarnasc".

Former political prisoners, diaspora representatives, and civic activists spoke before those present. Also musicians — Pra.Dziva choir, Yury Stylski.
A gallery with portraits of political prisoners was displayed on the square.
More than one hundred people gathered for the action.



Together with the choir, people sang "Pahonia".
The participants also formed a huge round dance. Afterwards, they set off on a procession through the city.


"March of Dignity" reached the Belarusian embassy. Participants honored with a minute of silence the victims of the regime and Belarusian volunteers who died in Ukraine.
