The football championship final is not planned to be postponed due to smog in New York, which formed due to forest fires in Canada, writes the newspaper Ole.

According to data from the IQAir website, the air quality index in New York is currently 208, which corresponds to the rating "very unhealthy".

The final between Spain and Argentina is scheduled for Sunday evening (at 22:00 Belarusian time) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, which is located 10 kilometers west of New York.

At the same time, there are concerns about the safety of the 80,000 fans who will attend this match, but there is hope that the smoke will dissipate by Sunday.
