Mother and Son Die in Accident in Stoubtsy District

The accident occurred on August 10 around 3 PM on highway H-9781 "Novy Svierzhan — Liubkaŭščyna — Žyhałki", the Investigative Committee reports .

A 57-year-old woman was driving a Ford Focus with her sons — aged 19 and 37. Near the village of Žyhałki in the Stoubtsy district, on a curved section of the road, she lost control. The car veered into a ditch.

As a result of the accident, the driver and her 19-year-old son sustained injuries from which they died. The other man sustained bodily injuries of varying severity and was hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
