The heads of the call centers were sentenced to terms ranging from 6 to 11.5 years of imprisonment.
The Minsk City Court issued a verdict for 54 defendants in the case of fraudulent call centers. The leaders and participants of an international criminal organization, whose offices were located in Moscow, Bishkek, and Minsk, were accused, according to the General Prosecutor's Office.
The fraudulent call centers operated from 2017 to 2024. Residents of CIS and EU countries became their victims.
The fraud scheme was based on offering passive income through investing money in non-existent financial projects.
Victims were persuaded to transfer money to accounts controlled by the organization. The total amount of damage caused exceeded 2 million rubles.
The court found the defendants guilty of "managing structural divisions of a criminal organization, participating in its activities in any other form, and fraudulent appropriation of property on a large and especially large scale, committed by an organized group."
The leaders were sentenced to terms ranging from 6 to 11.5 years of imprisonment, with fines from 1 thousand to 10 thousand base units (45 thousand – 450 thousand rubles).
Ordinary participants were sentenced to punishments in the form of imprisonment for terms from 3 years 3 months to 7 years 6 months, with fines from 600 to 4000 base units (27 thousand – 180 thousand rubles).
The court satisfied the claims of the victims — over 2.2 million rubles were jointly recovered from the defendants as compensation for material damage, as well as 15 thousand rubles for moral damages.

Самые большие деньги получали владельцы кол центра, они и не в Беларуси живут вроде в Израиле, а директора это не владельцы.
