In Serebryansky Park in Minsk, a passerby noticed a gray cat standing in tall grass and intently watching something.

The Minsker tried to attract the animal's attention with whistling and even meowing, but the cat didn't react. It turned out that it was much more interested in potential prey — a wild hare was sitting nearby.
“At first, I didn't understand why it wasn't reacting to me, but it turned out — it was hunting a hare,” wrote the video’s author on Threads. According to him, it was the first time he had seen a live hare.
Threads users appreciated the unusual scene. One joked that the passerby "ruined the cat's entire hunt," while others noted that the cat was more interested in the hare than in the biped. Some speculated that the animal might not have been hunting, but wanted to play with the unexpected neighbor. Someone added that the hare was dangerous for the cat.
“What's surprising here? This is Serebryanka, and the cats there are tough!” — someone remarked.

..пта. а зайцы плаваць умеюць?
наблюдение кота за зайцем - это еще бесконечно далеко до "охоты"
ровно также кот "охотился" бы за собакой, сидящей в том же месте.
