The main event of the "Batskava Bulka" karavai fest in Svislach was a real 150-kilogram karavai, baked by Grodno bakers. It was decorated with gingerbread, braids, and other decorative elements.

Oksana Adamovich, Deputy General Director of JSC "Grodnohlebprom," noted that this year the bakers decided to go for a record so that all participants of the event could taste the karavai. It took two days to bake. Despite its large size, it remained fresh until the presentation.
The karavai consisted of a large number of individual parts, which were first baked, then brought to Svislach, and assembled into one composition there.
In addition, all branches of "Grodnohlebprom" participated in a competition for the best karavai work. The winner was determined by craftsmanship, taste, aesthetics, originality, the use of various techniques, and other criteria.
Evgeny Garavsky, a 4th-grade dough former, presented the jury with a large composition made of sweet dough. It depicts the work of combine operators, field workers, and bakers on several tiers.
On the lower tier, a combine harvester reaping wheat was placed, and on the upper one, a mill where flour from the new harvest is ground. A special place in the composition is given to female figures with flowers and treats. According to the master, this is connected with the Year of the Belarusian Woman.

The entire composition is made entirely of edible materials. It took almost a month to create: raw dough was gradually built up, details were formed and dried. As a result, the bread sculpture weighed about 60 kilograms.
