Germany Recommends Annual COVID Vaccination Only for Those 75 and Older
Germany's Standing Committee on Vaccination has changed its recommendations for coronavirus vaccinations. Annual revaccination is now recommended not for all people over 60, but only for those 75 and older.

The Robert Koch Institute believes that over 95% of adults already have broad immune protection thanks to vaccinations, previous infection, or a combination of both, writes Bild.
However, annual vaccination is still recommended for people of any age with an increased risk of severe COVID-19. This group includes, among others, people with cardiovascular and chronic lung diseases, diabetes, obesity, liver and kidney diseases, weakened immunity, and oncological conditions. The recommendation also remains for nursing home residents, doctors, and medical personnel.
For healthy pregnant women, the general vaccination recommendation is withdrawn. For healthy children and adolescents, vaccination is, as before, not mandatorily recommended.
