Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are heading to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had a detailed and constructive phone conversation with U.S. President's Special Representative Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

According to Zelenskyy, negotiations between the Ukrainian and American teams are ongoing. The parties are currently discussing a possible date for a visit by Trump's representatives to Ukraine, which could help develop solutions for achieving peace.

Zelenskyy also spoke about the situation on the front lines and Russian air strikes. He noted that the successes of the Russian army are minor and come at the cost of heavy losses.

The Ukrainian President added that the teams will remain in contact to coordinate the agenda and schedule for further interactions. He thanked Trump, Witkoff, Kushner, and everyone in the U.S. who is working towards peace.
