Trump: We aim to fundamentally change the political situation in Cuba
Speaking at the UN General Assembly, US President Donald Trump said that the communist regime in Cuba is under the strongest pressure in its entire history. According to him, the regime is allegedly experiencing an unprecedented crisis and will eventually collapse.

Trump also reported that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is negotiating with the Cuban side, but did not disclose the details.
The American president added that the US will not allow foreign adversaries to use territory near American borders as a base for threats to the United States.
During Trump's speech, the Cuban delegation left the General Assembly hall.
The general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly is taking place in New York from September 22 to 28.
