"Kava z Historikam" is back: renowned researchers will talk about the elections to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Everything you wanted to know about elections in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania can now be asked of professional historians. On November 29th, the Free Belarus Museum in Warsaw will host a round table "Elections in the GDL" as part of the project "Coffee with a Historian."

The interlocutors at this event will be well-known Belarusian historians Andrei Radaman, Alexander Grusha, and Andrei Matsuk. You will learn about:
- Congresses and Sejms of the nobility of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania before and after the Union of Lublin: traditions and evolution of political representation;
- How the nobility achieved the right to participate in the management of the country;
- How ambassadors were elected, how decisions were implemented, and how votes were counted;
- How their choice was defended back then.
The round table will be held on November 29 at 2:00 PM at the Free Belarus Museum in Warsaw on Foksal Street, 11.
