“I love Minsk very much. How can one not love it, if it is the capital of my homeland, native Belarus? It is a beautiful, well-maintained city... I practically spent all my conscious life not here, but in the region. But for 11 years now, I have been living and working in Minsk. The city is changing, it is transforming. It is a bright, very beautiful city, comfortable for living. I have visited various countries quite often, seen many capitals of the world. Each has its own peculiarities, its own architectural and historical objects. But the city of Minsk, probably, stands out because it is comfortable for living.
This speaks to the fact that people are cared for here. Minsk is not a metropolis in its purest form with a huge number of cars, transport interchanges, buildings. Everything is harmonious here. Modern objects, historical streets, avenues...", she said on "Radio Minsk".
In the mid-2010s, Kochanova was given land in Drozdy-2, an elite district of Minsk. She built a house and transferred it to her two daughters. Similar cottages cost about $1 million.
