For a year and a half, the teenager didn't tell anyone about his involvement in the series, saying he was filming a documentary about mayonnaise. And people believed him! The actor revealed this on Jimmy Fallon's American show.

Jake Connolly auditioned for the role of Derek back in 2024. But he couldn't tell anyone about his filming in the series. He laughs that after his answer about the mayonnaise documentary, people stopped asking further questions.

The final, fifth season of the series "Stranger Things" will be released at the end of this year. Some episodes were already premiered on November 26 and December 26, and the final episode will be released on New Year's Eve — December 31. The series tells about mysterious events in the American town of Hawkins in the 1980s. By genre, it's a mix of science fiction, horror, drama, and teen cinema. This series has become one of the most popular in Netflix history.
