"And then Putin will sit down at the negotiating table." Zelenskyy announced Washington's unwillingness to help Kyiv

The President of Ukraine commented on the statement by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio about a strategic stalemate in the war between Ukraine and Russia.

"We are currently in a strategic stalemate that carries risks. Strategic stalemates are resolved in only two ways: either through negotiations, or through escalation by one or both sides, which eventually goes beyond the initial conflict," stated US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a visit to Athens.

Commenting on Rubio's words during a visit to a residential building in Pryluky, where 22 people died as a result of a Russian strike, the President of Ukraine stated that there was no diplomatic stalemate.

After this, he criticized attempts to return to joint business with Moscow: "You cannot, on the one hand, agree with the Russians on some economic projects for the future, and on the other hand, say that we are in some political situation, in a diplomatic stalemate. Close their entire economy, sew up Russia's mouth, do not support them with your sales, just impose sanctions against their weapons. Turn on Starlink for Ukraine. You turned it on when you responded to Iran, everything worked there, Israel completely controlled the sky. That is, when you need it, everything works exactly like that."

According to Zelenskyy, China is now actively developing an analogue of Starlink, which will be handed over to Russia.

"Russia may gain such dominance. We are talking to the Europeans, who are also developing several such directions. They will gladly help us, but they have not yet come as close to the result we need," he said.

"We are talking about defense. The United States has it. It costs them nothing. It costs nothing to help Ukraine. And I openly said: give us, help us defend the sky and dominate it. And then Putin will sit down at the negotiating table. Why? Because he will lose everything. He will lose everything. Three months, two months - he will lose everything. And we are waiting for the Chinese to have this analogue and for them to hand it over to the Russians. And where is the truth here? Where is the honesty here? Where is all this? What stalemate? What stalemate?! This is not a stalemate. This is called unwillingness," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.
