In Moscow, 50-year-old Alexey Sklyar, who previously served as Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia, was found dead in his private home. When rescuers arrived at the scene, the door to the house was open, and the former official's body lay near the threshold.

According to preliminary data, before his death, Sklyar sent a farewell message to friends, in which he blamed his wife for what happened.

It is reported that after leaving the government in 2022, the former official faced financial difficulties, which became the cause of conflicts in the family. After one of the quarrels, Sklyar's wife went abroad.
Alexey Sklyar worked at the ministry from 2018 to 2022. After leaving public service, he did not hold public positions and led a reclusive lifestyle. An investigation is currently underway into the death, and examinations have been appointed.
