Two Drunk Individuals Shared a Car, and Not Only the Driver Faced Problems
On the morning of February 14, a 23-year-old man, driving an Opel car in the guest parking lot of house No. 3 on Minsk's Hoshkevich Street, hit a 26-year-old pedestrian who was walking on the sidewalk. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for examination, but the story didn't end there.

After the incident, the driver remained at the scene, but his 24-year-old passenger got behind the wheel and tried to leave the parking lot. He was, however, stopped by police officers.
A medical examination showed that both the driver and the passenger had approximately 2 per mille of alcohol in their systems. Further investigation revealed that the passenger had never possessed a driver's license at all.
As a result, both offenders were taken to the District Department of Internal Affairs (RUUS), and the car was placed in a guarded parking lot.
