Last night in Belarus once again became a real test. According to Belhydromet data, "twenty-degree frosts" returned to the country, with the main impact of the cold hitting the northwestern and northern regions.

The pole of cold formed on the border of Grodno and Vitebsk regions. The lowest temperature was in the area of Lyntupy, in Postavy and Sharkovshchina, where the thermometer dropped to minus 20 degrees Celsius.
In the capital, the frost was more moderate but noticeable — around minus 11°C.
Traditionally, the south of the country remained the warmest. The temperature difference with the north of the country was 15 degrees.
In Brahin, only minus 3.7°C was recorded, while in Mozyr and Lelchitsy, the temperature stayed within minus 5 …— 6°C.
