The incident occurred on Sunday, January 11. Around 11:00 PM, our compatriot, breaking a lock, entered the surgical outpatient clinic of the Saints Cosmas and Damian Hospital. Here he began to rampage, destroying furniture and making such a racket that some witnesses feared the building would collapse.
In addition, the man decided to take with him everything he could find in the office: instruments, gauze, disinfectants.
Medical staff and security personnel immediately called law enforcement. Upon arrival, they apprehended the unruly man before the situation could worsen, given the danger of the sharp objects he had stolen.
The arrested person was not a patient of the hospital and had no prior police record. Most likely, his nighttime adventures in the surgical outpatient clinic were solely caused by alcohol consumption.
