Ukraine can join the Peace Council only after the end of the war
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during communication with journalists on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, commented on the possibility of his country's participation in the Peace Council created by US President Donald Trump.

Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukraine has received an invitation to the Peace Council and noted that this is already provided for in the "20-point plan" developed based on the initial American "peace plan." This body was proposed by the USA for participation in monitoring a ceasefire.
The President of Ukraine admitted that he does not know Trump's exact intentions regarding who specifically will be invited to the Peace Council. But for Ukraine, it is clear that its participation in this organization is possible only after the end of the war. Until then, Ukraine cannot sit at the same table with Russia and its ally Belarus.
On January 22, the official establishment of the Peace Council took place in Davos, but no traditional Western European ally of the USA has joined it yet.
