All major Belarusian businesses in Lithuania cut tax deductions to the budget

Companies with Belarusian owners, which are among the top 500 largest taxpayers in Lithuania, significantly reduced their budget payments in that country by the end of 2025. The relevant data, which was studied by Thinkthanks.pro, was published by the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI) under the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania.

As in 2024, four companies with Belarusian owners were in the top 500 last year.

These are three IT businesses, two of which (Epam sistemos and Wargaming Vilnius) entered the top five largest taxpayers in their industry. And one more meat processing enterprise — Krekenavos agrofirma from Kėdainiai district. Its co-owner is a citizen of Belarus, Yulia Uspaskikh-Krutikova.

All companies with Belarusian roots lost positions in the ranking:

  • Epam sistemos (a "daughter" of one of the world's IT leaders) moved from 72nd place in 2024 to 97th place in 2025;
  • Wargaming Vilnius — from 109th to 128th;
  • Krekenavos agrofirma — from 119th to 200th;
  • Gurtam — from 262nd to 317th.

In 2025, these four paid more than 15% less taxes than a year earlier. While in 2024 the total amount of money transferred by these companies was 49.7 million euros, in 2025 it was already 43.1 million euros.

Here's how these companies reduced payments last year:

  • Epam sistemos: from 17.8 million to 15.9 million euros;
  • Wargaming Vilnius: from 13.3 million to 12.5 million;
  • Krekenavos agrofirma: from 12.3 million to 8.6 million;
  • Gurtam: from 6.3 million to 6.0 million.

However, at the same time, tax transfers from the main source of the Lithuanian budget — the Orlen Lietuva holding — significantly decreased (by more than 20%). In 2025, Orlen Lietuva paid 415.6 million euros in taxes, whereas a year earlier this amount was 522.9 million euros.

The top five largest taxpayers in Lithuania:

  • Orlen Lietuva — 415.6 million euros;
  • Circle K Lietuva — 375.0 million euros;
  • Okseta — 356.7 million euros;
  • Philip Morris Baltic — 288.6 million euros;
  • KN Energies — 287.4 million euros.
