Yesterday, the finalists of the football Europa League and Conference League were determined.
In the Europa League final, English 'Aston Villa' and German 'Freiburg' will play.
'Aston Villa' defeated another English club, 'Nottingham Forest', in the semi-finals (first leg 0:1, second leg 4:0).
And 'Freiburg' won against Portuguese 'Braga' (first leg 1:2, second leg 3:1).
The final will take place on May 20 in Istanbul at the 'Beşiktaş' stadium.
In the Conference League final, English 'Crystal Palace' and Spanish 'Rayo Vallecano' will play.
'Crystal Palace' won twice against Donetsk 'Shakhtar': 3:1 and 2:1, while 'Rayo Vallecano' twice defeated French 'Strasbourg' with a score of 1:0.
Let's recall that the Spanish club eliminated Grodno's 'Neman' from the tournament. The Madrid club twice defeated the Belarusians in the qualification play-off final in August: 1:0 and 4:0.
The final will take place on May 27 in Leipzig.
In the Champions League final on May 30 in Budapest, French 'PSG' and English 'Arsenal' will play.
Thus, three English clubs will play in the three European cup finals.
