Bitter Cold in Budslau Church: Parishioners Stand in Down Jackets and Hats, While Priests Conduct Service in Gloves
The All-Belarusian Day of Consecrated Life (dedicated to God) took place on February 7th at the National Sanctuary in Budslau.

The photos published by the parish are striking: many nuns and faithful gathered in the church were forced to sit in hats, hoods, and gloves — the temperature was almost like outside, noted katolik.life.

One of the priests even conducted services in gloves.

It was known earlier that it was cold in the Budslau church, but these photos most vividly illustrate the situation.

The sanctuary has never had heating, and this freezing winter the problem has become acute. The small parish lacks the funds for heat guns, lamps, and similar equipment, unlike other "old" churches — for example, in Varniany.
