Telegram's Operation to be Restricted in Russia

Russian authorities have decided to begin work on slowing down the activity of the Telegram messenger in the country, RBC was informed by a source in the information technology industry and two sources in relevant departments.

According to two sources, Roskomnadzor plans to start taking measures to partially restrict the service's operation on Tuesday, February 10.

Another RBC source added that measures to slow down Telegram are already being introduced.
