In Pinsk, the apartment of Aliaksei Patsko — the former judge who refused to preside over cases against protesters — is for sale
The apartment has a mortgage, so formally it belongs to the bank — but it is still being sold.

In Pinsk, the apartment of a judge who refused to try protest participants in 2020, resigned from work, and left the country, is for sale. Patsko confirmed to Nasha Niva that it is indeed his property.
A two-room apartment with an area of 60 square meters is being sold at a state auction. The housing is under arrest: an enforcement proceeding has been opened, and there is a ban on registration actions. The auction is scheduled for April 7.
Aliaksei confirmed to Nasha Niva that the apartment being sold indeed belongs to him. The man says he has not received any documents regarding the sale of the apartment and therefore does not know the details of how the apartment ended up at auction.
The property was purchased with the help of a preferential loan, so formally the bank is considered its owner. Aliaksei Patsko says that he regularly repays the loan for the apartment, but admits that there might be a small debt for utilities on that apartment.
Aliaksei Patsko worked at the court of Pinsk district and Pinsk. After the events of 2020, he became one of the few judges who refused to consider administrative cases against protesters and impose arrests. After this, he was suspended from work and later fired. When, in 2021, the former judge faced persecution from security forces and the initiation of a criminal case, he left Belarus with his family.
