A Belarusian woman driving a tram in Wrocław rescued a stray cat during her shift and is now looking for owners for it
Volha, an emigrant, mastered a new profession — tram driver. Recently, she returned from her shift with a black kitten.

A small operation had to be organized for its rescue, and now the Belarusian woman is thinking about what to do with the pet. She told about the unusual trip on TikTok, Most writes.
In the morning, Volha was on another trip around Wrocław when she saw "something incomprehensible lying" between the tracks.
— I jingled — and that incomprehensible something ran away, — she recounts.
The "incomprehensible something" turned out to be a black cat, which was so frightened that it "jumped to the right side onto the roadway" and crawled under a car.
Volha jumped out of the cabin and began waving her hands at the woman who was driving the car, so that she wouldn't move. The driver was confused, not knowing what to do. Volha managed to grab the animal by the tail and quickly started pulling it out from under the car.
— It's screaming, resisting, hissing at me, — the Belarusian woman describes the cat's reaction.
Name, advice, and owners needed
Having rescued the animal, Volha wondered what to do with it. It's not allowed in the cabin due to safety regulations: the cat could get under her feet or into the pedals, distract her, and cause an accident.
She managed to arrange with one of the passengers to hold the cat. In parallel, Volha called her daughter (who was on her way to school) and asked her to come and pick up the animal. She met the tram exactly at the stop where the girl-passenger needed to get off.
That's how the black cat ended up at Volha's home. The animal is very thin and quite small — the Belarusian woman believes the cat is four or five months old.
— It purrs non-stop, — she describes.
Volha already has three cats. For now, the new pet has been isolated in a carrier, but the Belarusian woman is thinking about a new home for the cat. Acquaintances advise her to give it to a shelter, but the woman cannot bring herself to do it yet.
— In general, we need a name. And advice. And, perhaps, new owners, — she concludes.
